The Intensive Care Unit is a specialized department that provides care for patients whose vital functions are severely impaired and pose a life-threatening risk. ICUs operate under the supervision and management of anesthesiology and reanimation specialists, with support from physicians of all medical specialties.
With the help of advanced technology, intensive care services have significantly progressed in recent years. Patients undergoing high-risk surgeries, those with brain hemorrhages, multiple organ traumas, organ failures, emergency bleeding conditions, or sudden strokes are monitored in the ICU. Additionally, patients with severe respiratory insufficiency, progressive neuromuscular diseases, drowning incidents, and poisoning cases also require close follow-up in intensive care units.
Our general ICU, with a capacity of 12 beds, is fully equipped with:
Respiratory support devices
Monitors for tracking heart and circulatory system functions
Blood gas analyzers
